well this is awkward...

We all then proceeded to talk about "Supernatural" for the rest of the ride 'til Eglinton.

Well, "Supernatural" isn't a particularly mainstream show (also I think, the demographic is largely female) and you just never think people are really listening to your conversations on the subway!

Ha ha, I'm just sorry he had to hear us talk about the homoerotic subtext.

EDIT: Sliced it up for easier viewing. ;)
This lightbox feature is nifty...

climbin', clamberin'

Trying to keep things alive.

My gift sketch for an incredible man who saved us while climbing one of the Dewa Sanzan mountains in Japan. I had a couple pencil crayons lying around so I coloured it too. :)

Check out Ian's! It's so awesome.

mermaid

A mermaid I sketched for Brittney Lee as thanks. Brittney and David Suroviec took us on a tour of the Disney Animation Building last week. What an amazing opportunity! Thank you so much you guys. <3

and while I show them, I'll show me

And mind me, with each step I am more certain everything will turn out fine. I have confidence the world can all be mine. They'll have to agree I have confidence in me!

Ha ha yeah, I'm lame. I sing that song to myself all the time. Everything pretty much applies too...except for the bit about the seven kids. That'd be pretty akward.

Canvas for Cause

Canvas for Cause is this Sunday in Toronto. If you're in the area that day, please come by and take a look! There'll be a showcase of awesome local artists and all proceeds go to a great cause.

I have a piece there too. It's a little rushed, unfortunately.

The line art:

A lot of the flower line work was lost in the rushed painting. Shame.
And then I spilled paint water on the paper so I improvised and turned it into a cut-out.
